The wheels attach with strong velcro strips, and can be removed and stowed inside the case. When you arrive just pull out the lightweight, insulated Colorado Soft Case or your own gig bag (order separately, soft case not included), which provides interior padding and thermal protection. These cases accommodate a ½” thick foam padded gig bag. The Geobuilt™ guitar shell measures 45 inches long by 19 inches wide by 8.5 inches deep, and weighs only 20 pounds. This flight case was designed for the Dreadnought size guitar and has been used for dobro instruments as well.
